Fixx is one very athletic girl. She easily leaps 4 feet for the frisbee, turns on a dime and out races all of my guys in the yard. She has amazing drive and is a very vocal tugger!
Fixx is just getting her feet wet in performance sports. Her first flyball tournament was a u-fli tournament and she ran flawlessly the entire weekend in singles, pairs and start on the team. I also entered her in the 2008 AAC Ontario Regionals and she came home with a 5th place in the first jumpers round. That was the highlight, Sunday's rounds were slight disasters :-)
She is also just earned her last advanced standard leg and may now compete at AAC Masters level. In July of 2008, just when we were on a roll, she injured her groin muscle. I have given her a good rest and she's back in the ring January 2009.
Fixx is certainly a fun dog to train and run. At home she likes to be near me, and is very content in the house. Fixx stands at just over 19 inches tall and is about 35lbs.
