Update:

September 9th at the Royackers trial Jake earns his first Steeplechase leg.

Jake has made it to 20,000 Nafa points  achieving the title of ONYX.  Jake continues to take a bit of an agility break while he learns that weaving is necessary for Master Q's :-)


He could weave...honest!

Jake is very special to John and I.  He came to us as a rescue around 9 months of age.  He was either lost or abandoned in the State of PA, but through the wonders of e-mail groups he found his home with us.  We are so fortunate to have him.  He is very striking, most affectionate and a joy to own and train.

Jake has really started to put everything together.  He is becoming a fantastic agility dog and continues to surpass all my expectations as he gains confidence and experience in the agility ring. 

Jake competes in flyball (his favourite), agility, disc and dog sledding.  Jake really is a good all around dog, putting in a solid performance at anything he tries.  See the great action shots of Jake below and some of Jake being Jake!
